Here’s a not-particularly-easy-to-find Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Octave Fuzz. Kinda inspired by the Octavio, this pedal is a quite nasty octave-up fuzz. Not for every taste but…if you know how to use it, you can get some great tones!

Specially modified circuitry in the Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Octave Fuzz Pedal adds an octave overtone to the fundamental fuzz effect. This gives the unique edge heard on many of Jimi’s solos. The Octave Fuzz Pedal features 2 external control knobs: volume and tone. A red LED indicates when unit is on. Requires AC adapter or 9-volt battery (not included)
Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth are two well-kown users of this pedal.
Friendly advice: like most nasty fuzz boxes, this pedal will sound MUCH, much better if you got a good valve amp. And, like many players have said before – it’s not really meant to be used on its own, but to drive another fuzz or overdrive…that’s when you’ll get the best tones of this baby.
You can get some pretty cool ring modulator-type sounds too.
